[Spoilers] Missing a Moonbeam gem (not in it's designated location)

So i'm pretty good at searching every crack climbing up every rock, and overall exploring every possible area I come across for every tiny rock, plant, and penny. I started my parrade in Blackrock Isle around level 16ish or so (I don't remember exactly when) and have gotten to the eye past the small place you meet barrack (with the fountain), which is where i found my first moongem. I'm now level 50. (I forgot there was a storyline to this game..)

After exploring everything i could, I looked up a list of moonbeam gems to see if by some miracle i had missed any, because I could only find one of them, (I assumed i had missed some..) To see that I had missed one that was supposely sitting on the little ledge next to the corpse in the area with the goreclops. I had been there many many times before, for farming, and never saw one there.. So i visited again, to look very thoughouly this time, and still could not find it.

I have double checked my storage to make sure i didn't accidently pick it up and put it in storage, but to no avail. Is there something i need to do to make it appear there? Or is it simply supposed to just be there?

The Moonbeam Gem appears in the second room that uses that template, not the one with the chained Gorecyclops (Midnight Helix). It'll be in the one after the Fortress of Rememberance, where you start up at the top, you work your way down past Succubi and Goblin Shamans, and there'll be a non-prisoner (much smaller) Gorecyclops at the bottom. There'll also be a bunch of weak Skeletons that appear in the poison area, and the gem is past them.
