Corrupt pawn data omitted
No clue what happened, turn on the game today, got some rift crystals from someone using my pawn and when I went to replace my support pawns with some my level I couldn't call any pawns, it would come up with an error saying "pawn data omitted"

trying to reinstall the game now, I hope something dumb didn't happen and I don't need to start over

Yeah, I can search and see players pawns at my level but every single one I try to summon gives me corrupt pawn data, it's really frustraiting and I'm Really hoping a clean install fixes it

Its not something you can fix.

Pawn data comes from the server. If the server flags pawns as corrupted, that's a problem with that pawn or with the server itself.

Had the exact same message today but could summon other pawns just fine.

Huzzah! A fresh install actually fixed it for some reason, happy days!

Same problem here, will try a cache integrity check.

Btw, in my case it is because of this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/50/?
(as soon as I replace game_main.arc by the vanilla one or the one from unlimited stamina and 10 000 carry weight I can hire pawns.)

So, if you have installed a mod, it can be the issue :)

Yes, that's basically it. Mods with in-game effects can corrupt your (and others) pawns.

Its part of the anti-cheating system for the game. Pawns with odd or messed with stats are flagged as cheating and are banished. In this case I guess the mod was messing with all pawns stats. I've heard about that mod causing this problem before.

This. Modifying any pawn data will flag your main as unrentable. In the PS3/360 verison of the game, that was a period of two weeks.

Gameplay mods aren't adviseable if you wish to use the online rental system. If you're modding gameplay mechnics, stick to offline.

You cant corrupt others pawns, because you are not really renting their pawn but a mere copy of the pawn made the last time it's master slept at an inn.

My pawn has modified stats (because of this mod) and it can still be rented so I suppose it's a little more complicated than that. (maybe only OP stats are banned)

How odd, I got one corrupt pawn data but it wasnt from my side, it was one particular pawn that I couldnt invite it to my rift at all. I dont/haven't use any mods btw. People using mods on their pawn will corrupt them.

Dude..this happend to my xbox360 pawn ..i never use mods or crap, and it corrupted my pawn. It sucks but you cannot fix it on xbox360...you all lucky you can fix it via steam. I ranted about this issue here

http://steamcommunity.com/app/367500/discussions/0/485623406947739248/

People argued and said i used mods, but it can happen even if you don't use mods, like it happen to me on xbox360, and carielo on this version.. I stopped argueing about it since people were asking for evidence, well, the evidence is starting to show more and more of itself. I kinda stopped it for awhile since i don't own this game. Sad to see this bug still common on pc version. Now that i see it is common on pc version too, i probably not get.

Just for all your info, i only ever used mods on SNES games, but i don't even use my game genie anymore for my super nintendo games anymore. Since i got older and more mature, i find cheating boring and like a shortcut method, i play games to enjoy them now.
