female bandits went hostile
I didn't think they would go hostile if i brought in a male pawn but they did and attacked us. I jumped off the wall and escaped but will they become friendly again so i can do the quest there?

Yes. Any male characters/pawns must have no facial hair, and be wearing womans clothes.

Both me and my pawn have full facial hair and never had any problem going there as long as they wear the female outfit. As soon as you get the token from the boss, you can dress like normal around them.

No worries TC. I actually had no idea about the quest until reading the missables guide and had already gone there and killed them all. I came back a few days later or so all dolled up and they respawned and gave the quests.

I always found this mechanic funny.

It's like they're thinking "Yeah, it's a shame a lot of female faces / hair combos turn out to be hideous / bland, I bet if we took a male character, put long hair and dressed it like a woman, there would be almost no difference"

I thought that too because one female bandit says the leader has a thing for feminine looking men's faces. I guess it would be too much of a hassle so just the dress was necessary.

I love that the game has little touches like this and the fact that ogres will chase female party members.
