Where can I encounter Wyrms?

I encountered and killed a wyrm before in some greenfields, but I forgot which one it is and how much day they spawn back

There is one in that forest near the Shadowfort.

Depends on where, in the plotline, you are. Before killing the Dragon there's only a Drake at Devilfire Grove. Others can be found at the DLC area and Post-Game.

Oh, and usually stuff respawns after a in-game week tops.

I think that in Post game there is one Wyrm in front of one of the gates to Gran Soren.

He'll land between where the goblins hang out and the harpies used to be pre Apocalypse, and you'll get one each of the 'monologue versions' at various points points in the overworld; destroyed fort, blue moon, water god altar

So, Wyrms are the ice dragons, right? Is that what you need to kill? Or any dragon?

The only Wyrms in Gransys are in post-game at 1) Watergod's Altar in the northernmost central chamber. 2) Everfall in the Chamber of Distress.

In Bitterblack island there are 3 possible encounters in Rotunda of Dread pre-daimon (1 with fiend-luring incense) and 1 in the Black Abbey.

If you meant any dragons, there's a Drake on Devilfire Grove, and other 2 post-game near Gran Soren and Blood Water Beach.

There's as many dragonkins as there are elements

- Drakes and firedrakes have an affinity to fire.
- Wyverns and thunderwyrms have an affinity with thunder.
- Wyrms and frostwyrms have an affinity with ice.
- Cursed dragons have an affinity with dark.

The advanced form of dragonkins, firedrake, thunderwyrm, frostwyrms and cursed dragons are only found in BBi.

Then you got the special dragons

- Grigori has affinities with fire and holy (rather an affinity with fire and a resistance to holy).
- Ur-dragon has an affinity with dark.

There's one in devilfire grove in Gransys. You can also get some to spawn in rotunda of dread at BBi.
But farming them isnt a good idea, their chance to dragonforge equipement is the lowest amongst all dragonkins.

Levels mean little in the game, what matters is knowledge of the ennemies pattern and weaknesses.

And the class you picked too... for bow users (strider, ranger and assassin) 53 is the perfect level to kill death in BBI on hard mode, then start farming cursed dragon for dragonforging stuff and stockpiling RC.

Assuming you're looking for wyverns outside of the everfall and bitterblack isle:

- There is ONE wyvern that spawns only once on the road from cassardis to gran soren, near gran soren itself. It does not respawn.
- If the above wyvern is not killed but instead flies away, it can be found across the bridge north of gran soren, a bit to the east apparently.
- A RESPAWNING Wyvern appears in bluemoon tower where you fought the griffon. It takes a week (I think, I could be wrong so you might want to check) to respawn.
