This game was beyond amazing. How they turned a simple situation, a very common situation of how involved arguing parents are with their own issues that they tend to ignore their starving child. How one unfortunate event can turn this kids whole world upside down is crazy! This creative team did an amazing job at capturing the horror aspect of something as simple as sitting in the backseat fending off against demons and worse. Loved the game, especially hard mode. Even as someone who isn't very much into the FNAF-like genre, this one was super fun. For gameplay, but also the story

Not really spoilers, but I'll still tag it as such for those who wanna go in fully blind: I really like how the initial story is more horror and tragedy focused, while the hard mode story takes that horror and twists it in a hopeful way.
Now I'm actually spoiling tho lol: Whereas in the first part it feels like you are escaping your demons who wanna stop you from getting to the happy cave, in the second it's you actively fighting against them. And the fact that it's hard mode that gets you that hopeful, bittersweet ending, really drives home the point that escaping from your demons is easier than fighting them, but that fighting them is worth the effort.

Ain't no way this was $3 I honestly thought this was $15. Things to takeaway:
- An immersive, tragic, complete story with deep subjects from a child's perspective
- Simple yet immersive, scary, and entertaining gameplay that adds a fun twist to well-known FNAF gameplay concepts.
- Amazing sound design
- Breaks the concept of a sense of security. You'll see what I mean XD
- Monsters are simple, but imposing, distorted, nightmarish and threatening.
- Concept of the main antagonist is distressing. Reminds me of the Cipsneed from the analog horror "The Boy and The Camera". Just the general idea of someone taking advantage of a child's defenseless mind is always disturbing to me.
- Great pixel artstyle, with different varieties to add contrast from other entities and gameplay sections.
- Hardmode cranks the game up a notch in difficulty and adds more to the story as well as providing an ending. Playing hardmode after completing normal mode is HIGHLY recommended.

Things I personally would like:
*More monster mechanics and Gamekyd mechanics
*An additional harder challenge unrelated to the storyline.
*An endless mode.
*Cosmetics like a different color for the interior of the car, or a new skin for the Gamekyd from completing challenges/Steam achievements.
*Make the monster that gets in front of your car to the same scale as its Gamekyd version. Instead of you swerving away from it, you drive between its legs.
*A playable cave section in hard mode where you explore around and looking at various horrific things that have happened within the cave. Like seeing what "supper" looks like, broken chairs, or other children like Amy around the cave with the imposing, constant threat of the main monster roaming the cave searching for you.
*More poses the monsters can be in when peering into your car. There was a time where I barricaded the back of the car and the two-headed monster crept its heads in between the planks. More things like that in my opinion would add more depth and DEFINITELY make the game way scarier and stressful.


On a side note, Kaleb is an absolute warrior. I only died once, but the game was still scary as all hell.

The only negative that I found is that the gameplay does get a bit repetitive in the middle of hard mode since after being introduced to the new mechanic (I won't say what it is), it's basically the same thing until level 5.

For 3 dollars, this is an absolute 10/10. I was fully immersed, entertained, devastated, stoked, and shocked. Only that little repetition bugged me. You NEED to play this game! NOWW!!!
