Buy a map event

I bought a map, my historian decipher it. Now how to find the exact location? I do not read carefully the text on event :(

It should auto-center on it. Otherwise, just look for an isolated clear spot on the map. If there isn't, it's somewhere in the area you explored.

If ya didnt notice where the camera automatically panned after the event of historian deciphering it, then its one of those locations you can find laying around on the map. Dont move, write down every lair and fort not under allied/civilized human control and start-a lookin'! :D

Lol, i was moving on caravan. I think because of that camera does not center on the lair with treasures.

Oh unless ya explored the whole map ya can usually just scroll out and see where it is. Or perhaps not recognizing one of the camps. Usually the map tells ya first about Black Monolith.

Yeah sometimes the map shows a location that you've already discovered, but it does tend to focus on coincidentally difficult to win locations

At this point... need a quest map..... and need to accept several quests at once with due date written.

On this subject, I encountered Brigands that I were contracted to root out of a cemetery but they offered to give me the location of a camp with treasure in exchange for their lives. Turns out there was nothing special there.
