the 200 day challenge: a new game plus style thing
hello brothers, i had an idea which i just tested, which works. it is a new game plus style thing, with certain conditions, for all to try.

to put it simply, its both cheating and legit. all you do is, when day 200 comes around with your band of brothers, you can stop recruiting, sell all you have, ect, and close game. THen you use the save editor (link at bottom) to transfer your brothers from your old save to the new save. just replace whoever you hired in new save with old save guys. Optionally, you can use cheatengine to give yourself all your old crowns, but i can explain that in due time.

the rules are simple:

upon day 200, you bring 8 brothers to a new land, aka, copy 8 battle brothers via editor, save the hexes to a new document, and start a new game. complete tutorial battle with the three companions, then hire 5 randoms. replace all guys in the warband with your old guys, via copy pasting hexes to the new save with editor save each first.

you cannot edit the brothers from before. you can only bring them to a new save.

the reason for the number 8, is because i think its balanced for a new save, and it replicates only 8 traveling, and the resat parting ways for whatever reason you can think of.

by doing it like this, you can unofficially make an improvised new game plus, with 8 old characters, with a reasonable in game explaination, while trying a new map.

any thoughts or feedback is appreicated

EDIT: you might also want to try doing twleve brothers but no reserves. harder at start, but still fun

Thanks for the suggestion, although I doubt a large part of the community is yet familiar with the possibilities offered by the save file editor...

Contracts when you just start probably won't pay enough to cover the pay for those mercs.

He did mention that you're bringing over the gold from previous save. You'd also be able to immediately take on bandit forts, you wouldn't even necesarily need contracts. Neat idea.
