Cheat to auto win battle?
Yea yea, I know it's "wrong" but I just want to know if it's possible..

Well as long as you don't Ironman there is this thing called saving it's pretty much like a superpower that allows you to defeat almost anyone ;)

Yeah it possible lure an op mob into city gaurds and just collect the cash and items :P did it today vs a ton of orc warriors i couldnt handel

That assumes the reason OP asks is to win without effort. What about if you want to autowin to skip what should be a trivial battle or one that's done?

I honestly would like an autobattle feature (as opposed to autoskip), especially when a fight is closing and i feel i've won, yet it's still time consuming to move 12 pawns+wait for your enemies turn, and if it's a big brawl involving allies too...Oh jeezus.
At that point it becomes a bit tedious and wouldn't mind letting the AI took over and finish the battle for me, i've done the hard work after all, the mopping up phase doesn't really require my intervention as much.

Basically mechanics to speed up the game when it drags in places or gets tedious wouldn't be detrimental imo. Or do you REALLY enjoy wasting 5 mins extra to wrap around the last enemies not fleeing, utterly surround them, and do mindless actions until they are finally dead or decide to run away (not always an option alas)? No reason can't have the AI take over for me at this point whilst i go grab a drink.

If you are up s*** creek and cannot win the battle just use the retreat button, it will cost you a lot to heal your boys up, but they will recover, it just seems like its a game over situation, but after 1hr of play you will be back to where you were.

If you master a data editing software such as Cheat Engine, you can make your mercenaries so good you can beat all enemies with just one guy, good luck!

Old topic but worth continuing. I would like an auto-win feature as my campaign has been brought to an abrupt halt by the ambush "feature" (bug). My autosave now loads into my entire company surrounded in a swamp by nearly a dozen orc warriors. Retreat is not possible due to being in a swamp and surrounded.

I actually initiated this fight originally. I expected it to be hard and to lose a few men, but I'm confident I would have won over all. Due to a power cut half way through the fight, I was unable to finish it first time, and now every time I load in I am being ambushed.

100% ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and 100% not my fault. Terrible game design in that respect. I hate the idea of an auto-win but I hate even more the idea of a campaign wipe due to shoddy and half-baked excuses for features. Willing to take matters into my own hands, so yes an auto-win mod/hack/console command SHOULD not be necessary, but thanks to the negligence on behalf of the developers, in some situations, it is.

Hey Peenarse, there is a way around your problem -- although a bit cumbersome: even if you can't get your entire party to retreat, you can probably maange it with at least one man. Then use BB-Edit to re-create your wiped party as if nothing happened. A bit of a mess, but it's better than saying goodbye to your whole campaign.

OH! I haven't heard of BB edit. That could be a campaign saver. I'll have a look into that, thank you. I'll be honest i'm not confident I'll be able to get anyone out what with ZoC + slow swamp movement but I'll definitely give it a few tries. Much appreciated <3

Equip your bro with the highest MDef with a shield (a heater shield if you have one) so he has a chance at evading a hit leaving ZoC. Leave him naked so he has a higher Initiative and Fatigue, and use the rest of your team to lure the enemies to get him a clear path towards the exit. If he gets a head start of two tiles he should make it. Good luck, let me know if you make it!

There are functions to kill entities. I only implemented the ones that work on the world map. I don't know if you would be able to target and kill the party before the battle screen pops up. But that may be worth a try. Look for the debug mode in 'tweaks & fixes' on nexus.

If you download cheat engine I can usually find the memory address for my first brother's action points and just lock it at full, then proceed to find the memory address for the fatigue and lock it at zero. You can then have an infinite turn and run around killing everything. The only thing you have to watch out for is your weapon will break but you just pick up the dead enemy's weapons.

I can confirm, this is easy if you know basic Cheat Engine, and I've done it in the most desperate situations, once or twice. Not on Monolith though, that I beat all by myself and even with my insane world edit mods, with doubled enemy parties :)
