So what exactly is the max clicks per second?

i dunno all i know is i clicked energize clickstorm and lagged on a boss that awarded a gild and i was clicking like mad manually as well and the game tells me i had 48 clicks a second during that lag spike i had. i dont have any auto clickers or wierd mice that have multi click so the lag musta had 2 seconds worth of energized clickstorm combined... if you can get some serious lag maybe the game will bunch it up and we can see what it caps at?

I tried different click speeds from 0.001 sec upwards, and 80 clicks/second seems to be the max.

i can click 10 times a second, never got more. with energized clickstorm i get 30 max.
tried but never reached the 35 achievement.

Without using the autoclicker couldn't you try using energize then clickstorm?

According to game statistics the Max Cps i've had is 80. It's been like that for a while now, I think this is the max the game can 'count' not too sure, if you have more than 80 please do share!

For those of you trying to get more than 10 or so clicks, try this. Use energize, clickstorm, reload, clickstorm, then (this is the part I am going to have a tough time explaining), put both hands on the mouse and click the left mouse button with your right pointer finger, then left pointer finger, then left middle finger. Once you get a nice rhythm going, you can get quite a few clicks!

Oh, I didn't realize that. I won't lie, I used an autoclicker to get the achievement. Is it like that with all the CDs? For example, I usually use the combo 8-5-9-5 or 8-4-9-4, this isn't getting me extra gold? There are a few bugs to work out, for example you cant energize Dark Ritual. Also, if you are idle and click powersurge, it takes away your idle bonus :(

Energize does work on Dark Ritual, for example, my current dps is 3.288x10^138 on my current run. Energize, Dark Ritual, Reload...and wait 1 minute for idle to kick back in, and we have: 3.617x10^138, a 10% increase (interestingly not 10.25%, which would be what you would expect if you got two 5% Dark Ritual boosts from this combo)

Each of the abilities can either be on, or on while doubled. Turning it on again while it is doubled (via getting that effect from the clickable, or using the reload ability) resets the timer but reduces it to non-energized as it overwrites the version already running.

Energize cannot be reloaded is maybe what you are thinking of, using Energize immediately before Reload causes the last two skills before Energize to be reloaded (if they aren't already back), which is what allows the 30 minute Energized Dark Ritual cycle if you hve Vaagur at maximum level: Energize, Dark Ritual, Reload, wait 15 minutes without using any skills or clicking the skill clickable, Energize, Reload*, wait 15 minutes without using the now reloaded Dark Ritual (but can use any of the other skills if you like), go back to the start of the cycle.

Clicking any of the nine abilities ends idle mode I think (most of them at least, anyway). Getting a non-clickstorm ability from the clickable does not end idle mode if I remember, but I have largely given up on clicking it as it is so rarely useful (as either the effect is running anyway, or if not having one effect running on its own is pretty pointless without the synergy of firing off other abilities).

*The second Energized Reload reloading the previous Reload and the Dark Ritual (now with about 45 minutes left) as the two skills it reloads, with the Reload of reload not doing anything

so anyone know WHY the stats screen displays 80 as max? also is there a source about max recorded. I see a lot of people say 80 max with 40 recorded, but no source that isnt older than 6 monthes.

You can test this on a deep run when things slow down so much that you can hammer on the same mob for say 1 minute without it dying, then just see how high you get the Jugg combo. Take that number and divide it by 60.
