Importing Tilesets from VX Ace into MV
Hi.. I was wondering if it is possible to take the High Fantasy Tilesets from VX Ace and put them into RPG Maker MV?

Thanks.

It is, but you need to do some adjusting to the tileset size (with GIMP or similiar software), some people have mentioned that ACE tilesets appear little blurry in Mv because of the new resolution.

There are plugins that come with the base editor that help with this process.

Tile resize and VX ACE to MV Converter.

There are tutorials on the RPGMaker Channel on youtube.
Count the tiles on your old Tileset -> Every Tile in MV has a size of 48x48 Pixel -> If you have 10x10 Tiles then you have to calculate 10x48 = 480pixel in height and width.

Ok.. can you also use the same scripts in MV as in Ace? I have scripts that add additional items slots and custom item slots..

No, they're incompatible. It's a totally different language, you see. Ace was Ruby and now it's JavaScript. But don't worry, someone will eventually make a plugin that does what you need it to, if they haven't already.

Good news! Extra/custom items slots come already built into the game! No script necessary!

There are two ways, either using Shaz plugin, to use 32p tiles, or my tutorial can help you convert your 32p tiles into 48p tiles, without too much loss of quality:
