But yeah, there has been a lot of whining already going on about the change in tile size. Some people even wanted 64x64 ones.
People have been wanting larger windows for a long time. Well, now they're free to choose whatever window size you want (with the help of a plugin) and you can also go back to the old 32X32 tiles, with a bit of work though.

And I guess I'm just a sucker for super simple sprites in games. I'll probably warm up to it eventually, but for now that plugin'll be a lifesaver. Thanks!
Personally, I think the screen size and tile size are both fine, but I have a 1920x1080 monitor and usually don't appreciate when games I'm playing only take up 1/10th of the screen, and usually can't stand to see blown-up fullscreen sprite art either. But hey, you can also change the window size back to 544x416 if you want to, yanfly's core plugin allows that, and again, that and the rest of yanfly's plugin engine can be grabbed for free by anyone who didn't preorder. Good stuff.
As the people wanting this are XP/Ace users I don't think that will be any kind of problem
Oh, there it is. Yeah, people directly upgrading from earlier rpg makers should be fine going back to the older window/tile sizes.
