i mean, only having #'s 1-6 is less than the console collections have, like anniversary edition which was also mentioned before me.
I bet most people get these games in other ways...anyway (not implying that I condone those "other" ways, just mentioning that it's really really, really, easy to just use those "other ways")...
See, the NES games used 240p.
PS2 and Gamecube Mega Man Anniversary Collection upconverted them to 480i. Then the Xbox port added 480p support.
Right there the output resolution is off.
Keep in mind the American versions of these games were in practice capable of looking better than the original Japanese. Famicom had only RF. Compared to the composite-ready NES.
On the other hand, 15 Euro isn't a lot of money. EVE Online subscription is 15 Euro for only 1 month of playtime.
I hope more classics get released like this, I really want TMNT II (Konami, NES) that game was so epic! and the Terminator games on the Sega Megadrive were awesome.
Thank You Capcom for bringing back memories, the 80's and the 90's were the best time of my life! (both gaming and cinema).
I support it as well actuall and with any luck it might allo capcom to see the marketability of their older titles on the PC. They remastered Ducktales was a great Step and I so, Sooooo want them to port their CPS-1 and CPS-2 arcade titles up here... I WANT King of Dragons DAMMMIT> and not the crappy SNES port.
KOnami... is having... er... difficulties right now. I mean they're turning SIlent Hill into a pachinko machine for heaven's sake. Maybe best to you know, ignore them for a few years til they've recovered from whatever stroke they're going through.
Si. Bring on the goodies. and Yeah i find the price a little high but. I can wait for the christmas or other sal to grab it. No rush. :-)
What amazes me is that Yeah. Might No 9 basically got trumped.
I'm not even a troll, but you're feeding me as if I were.
I wouldnt have complained about that splash screen if the collection had:
240p graphics, no distorted sprites, good quality sound, button config for GameCube version, etc. If you consider that nitpicking, you're the kinda lame gamer that allows videogame companies to release things wrong. There's others that care a little more about the product, you know? Because WHY if the original games looked 240p, and the X collection was 240p, why did Anniversary collection have to be 480i? That's totally wrong, and you consider me a nitpick for complaining! Get your facts straight.
I just think it's funny that the lame collection also has a lame spash video logo, that's all. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just a funny connection i see, nothing else.
Sometimes when I argue about this with my friends, I just wanna find even more reasons to hate Anniversary Collection, like including a picture of a silly kid in a Zero outfit in the manual of the game. That doesn't ruin the mood on its own, but helps ruin the big picture. Think nothing of it. It wasn't a real complaint. The in-game flaws ARE real complaints though. (blurry graphics, bad sound)
I certainly don't.
You just admitted you accept a rushed product with little care put on it. You should be working at APE. Oh wait, they're bankrupt.
No seriously, take a look at this:

This is anniversary collection. See that blurriness? See that wrong "II" used in the logo?
Do you see also how some pixels are bigger than others? (noticeable in the copyright symbol)
That's actually how the whole MegaMan 1 - 7 look like.
The originals looked beautiful like this: http://www.bonus-level.com/Bonus_Level_Uploads/2010/11/nesessities_megamanii_title.jpg
You can't be serious. Now you're just trolling with me.
MegaMan X Collection is perfectly sharp and clear, undistorted, on PS2. Just like the SNES games. It could have done that for Anniversary Collection.
There's nothing to do about this if you're fine with a mediocre shoddy emulation. I don't know why you're discussing the quality of the different collections when your standards are obviously abysmally low.
If crappy emulation, blurry graphics, stupid sound quality, horrible sound glitches, resolution lock and INPUT LAG mean nothing to you then there isn't that much else to compare between AC and Legacy Collection.
No one really wants you to take anyone seriously, as you're hellbent on deflecting every single bad thing about the Anniversary Collection due to your low standards.
Talking to a wall is a more engaging conversation than talking to you at this point.
