How to lift all edicts?
So since the developers consciously locked us out of lifting all edicts I was wondering if there is a chance of doing that by using the console? I have no clue about the use of the console but it seems to allow the activation of quest lines. I was thinking that it might be possible to do that to solve all edicts. Usually if you choose the burning library you won't get to solve the edict of stone and if you choose Lethian's Crossing first you won't get to see the burning library. Since there are two towers in the area of the edict of Stone you still get to visit the area, but you won't be able to lift the edict. You are pretty much locked out of it.

So if anybody here has any idea about using the console I would be interested if there is a chance to simply fire up both quests as soon as you accept one of them and have it work? Like If I accept the Lethian's crossing I would activate the burning library quest and thereby being able to solve both edicts?

You can lift all Edicts at least on Anarchy path. To lift Edict of Srone you can simply ruin three glowing staffs on your way to the last Spire even if you have no such quest.

Console (at least some of commands for sure) deactivates archivements. Can't help with it.

You can lift all the edicts following any path, you can even remove the edict of storm in the chorus path though you gain a lot of Wrath with nerat you need to find the documents of law stripping the baby of being the regeant and the edict ends.

How though if you don't get the quest. I was thinking of doing a rebel run and everything I have read says that if you go that route or any other route you will miss out on one area and one edict questline.

Not 100% sure, but it's possible on the Anarchist path at least. I stumbled into a route covering all locations on my first playthrough (Sided with the Chorus in Act 1, then went to Lathian's Crossing, followed by Burning Library - where I betrayed them - then Blade Grave, then Stone Sea. Going by story cues, I think the Anarchist path always sends you to Blade Grave and Stone Sea (and maybe Lathian's), so I assume that if you do the Library before betraying your allied faction, you can do everything.

That sucks.

I lifted all on the Disfavored route.

Well that isn't the route I am asking about. I know you can with the disfavoured. You can't on the rebel path however. If you do not go anarchist but actually recruit the Vendrien Guard you come to a point where you have to choose to go after either the Stone dudes or the Sages. If you go after the sages it prevents you going after the stone dudes which in turn prevents you from lifting the edict and vica verse.

Could you be more specific? I'm doing a playthrough where I sided with the rebels during act 1 and have not betrayed them. I've already missed the Edict of Fire, I had no idea the other two Edict slots were even in the game. Where and how do I find them?

Where Do I find this bit of paper. I found it in my 1st playthrough with the disfavored. As a rebel alliance I just finished the Edict of Storms, but never found the paper this time.

Do you mean last ones? One will be availale for research in act 3 in your library spire, another one is given to your by Bleden Mark during act 3 if you have good relationships with him.

It's somewhere in the Burning library. But if you have high Lore you don't need it.

You can lift all edicts on disfavored/anarchist paths. not sure if chorus can lift storms, people saying even knowing about loophole this dialogue isn't possible for chorus. I did both lethian path and burning library path and edict of fire isn't worth playing much less content. Lethian crossing story twist much bigger, have like 5 or 6 side quests ( library has 1 for disfavored lol ) and also brotherhood fight and story feels much better composed than random sweep through library with "random crimson spear out of nowhere" and just fight ( raetommon dialogues offers much more investigation and opportunities than crimson one ). Don't know about chorus, but for disfavored lethian path offers much more and even more artifacts and sigil that otherwise unavaible for disfavored if you concern with a loot.

I will never understand why you can only choose one or the other. Story and Gameplay wise it makes no sense other than forcing you to have multiple playthroughs.

I lifted all edicts first playthrough, sided with disfavored at Vendreans Well, didn't betray anyone for the rebels, then betrayed the disfavored while in the blade grave. Took the blade grave for myself, lifted the edict of storms by killing the regent's line (gaining a lot of favor with graven ashe in the process ironically lol), then bledem mark sent me on to the burning library to end the edict of fire and then to the stone sea to end the edict of stone. And then I re-instated all of the edicts myself because I didn't understand they are permiment lol :-)

I've not tried this mind you, but I think you might be able to end the Edict of Stone on any path, as long as you choose to go to the Burning Library and Blade Grave when prompted.

In my 1st playthrough at least I did BL and Stone Sea, but was allowed to travel to Blade Grave Spire in act 3, I suppose that if the same is true for the Stone Sea Spires, you might be able to end the edict on the way to the Spire next to Cairn.
