Question about Sirin value.
I've seen alot of people saying that Sirin is crazy "tank"? And things that she's like best companion, but i honestly don't see how is she good, or rather how is she better than the anyone else. Her peace talents that give her immunity to crits and easy disengages sure seems good, but honestly her lore is kinda low, Lantry for example is a monster in that matter. Her peace branch offer decent support but i find her offensive branch awful. Im not sure about her songs yet, they seem usefull but i still don't see what she does good. As for it stands when you recruit her, she is mediocre caster with low lore and aura support ( Lantry kinda cover that too ). What makes her worth being in a party?

Also i saw control emotion teacher and thought Sirin teach that sigil, but her dialogue option about teaching led to 5 subterfuge, even that text mention that i saw her sigil in my mind. Or i will learn it in other place?

With Sirin you don't even need Control Emotion or any taunts. Enemies just flock to her due to her AoE damage chants. All she needs to do is stay alive and everyone will stay glued to her.

Her lore gets better, too. Won't become second Lantry with infinite spell collection and highest possible lore any time soon, but she almost caught up to my warrior-mage after a single dungeon. And my char had about 80 Lore at the time.

1. Aoe chants melt enemies lines after some time. Good to finish half dead rats.
2. She is hard to kill with her maxed vitality for performance skill.
3. Her talent trees have tank perks unlike Barik.
4. She can summon deadly shadow that kills and draws attention even more.
5. She has confuse song that provides moment of rest if you need it.

Left tree if you want tunr Sirin into mage. Right tree if you plan mainly to sing. Mine sings and buffs party while throwing 1-2 attack spells.
Nothing can be better than seeing

One of her abilities gives her a passive 80pt shield against damage taken that regenerates if she's not taken any damage for a bit. Her neutering helmet, when upgraded, gives a fair bit of armor, and is still Light Armor, so you can crank her finesse and have most damage she does take reduced down and then further reduced by the armor from that hat, all while keeping her in light armor. And if she's singing Bane of Night, she's spewing arcane damage continously over a large area. Hook her up with a buckler and a fast, accurate weapon, toss Vital Body and Vampiric Weapon on her, and efforts to bring her down are going to have...issues.

Just remember to fix her Vitality, and crank her Finesse.

you forgot -20% dmg debuff for every enemy that hits her.

I find her left tree better, i mean she does have confusion, but that is rather weak argument for her usefulness, other characters have control aswell and some even more that 1, Lantry slows are awesome, artifact 1 hand sword ability is kinda crazy too ( ducheles? or whatever it name ). Also peace tree has really good one per battle opening song for defence, i didnt see any actually good ability in offensive tree, don't know about shadows yet they maybe good but i don't pick tree based on one ability.

defensive songs are mediocre. Game is not hard enough for playey o need them.
Confusion is only needed till you get shadow.

I rather like the early aria that strips their armor and renders them unable to resist her songs at all. And the Fear combo ability that paralyzes everything.

melee characters have enough sunder abilities so wasting breath for it kinda pointless.

Yea i don't like her that much, her songs seems to slow to make an inpact in my party. Im playing archer ( path difficulty ) and my darken the sky and blade cone aoe do ridiciolus damage especially with volcanic enchant or Eb lighting combo, i don't really see how that 10 damage ticks will ever be any close to make impact. Barik and Verse do really good melee damage, Lantry and Eb for me look way more usefull, especially Lantry with an amount of his lore and spell slots so ill put her on bench. I might consider her for a RP purposes but i don't really like her character either, not that much more than other mages.

Really, don't think of her as a mage. She's really not. I pretty much only give her heals, defensive buffs, and the entropy coil spell to strip buffs from enemies. (Note, the touch range gravelight spell, I class as a heal. And I like paralyzing things.) The big advantage of her is that her constant-effect songs have a large area of effect, no max number of targets, and to stop them, they have to either paralyze her, or kill her. Also, you can change which song she's singing by right clicking on it. So it's worth looking at the list. Bane of the Night is lots of damage and some anti-bane, but depending on your party composition you may prefer ones that nail the enemies with 'minor' status ailments that make your mages more effective, or songs that buff the party.

Yea, i know about how songs works, i simply cannot find them usefull enough, with her amount of lore ( sure i can raise it more but she's too slow ) i cannot trust her with effective support spells, best support spells come with selfless sigil and that is quite high amount of lore req. She won't do same damage as Lantry or other physical companion ( verse with volcanic weapon obliterates with her fury ability, noone even close to her damage ), buffs/debuffs are good but nothing other people can do other ways.

Also based on people posts there i didn't spread stats and talents properly, i will probably learn her better if ill play 2nd time.

Ah, yeah. With Sirin, you don't care about Quickness. Finesse, Vitality, Strength (her songs and arias are 'Abilities' not spells, I believe) and a bit of Resolve.

The speed of her singing is unaffected by Quickness, as is her accumulation of Breaths to power Arias. And with the delay between arias to gather 5+ breaths again, and the fact that she keeps singing even during recovery, cooldown/recovery time doesn't mean too much for her.

err no. Vitality is her primary stat for 2 reasons. 1. tank. 2. Performance.
