The game has received its last massive update with 1.5. Any new update will be minor --fixing soft locks and minor bugs.
I will pass that on to see where we stand on that.
Just a little reminder :

Over 60 millions (2 years ago, in 2 years this probably increased to over 70 millions) of steam users use gamepads, we are not minority and any modern game should have equal full support for gamepads and keyboards from day 1!
That is awesome. Thank you, sir, for your response!
I think it takes too long to fix that, it should not be much difficult. Still good to hear that you are going to pass that to the developers, thanks.
I would highly suggest decreasing the revolver's reload time significantly and increasing the crossbow's. The former is pretty useless as is and the latter makes the weapon much too reliable for single target takedowns with little to virtually no downtime, the ammo counter resets before the magazine reload animation is even done. Please consider addressing this issue.
I'd also like to say while the new improvements to surface tension look incredible it might be a bit too visually busy. Maybe some larger rock models could make it blend better?

at 1:45 and in much other timestamps. in xen happens also in the laboratory
1 - total lack of ambient occlusion
2 - low res textures
you guys should really add ambient occlusion, few different techniques to let play choose one of them
and you really need to take out textures source files and convert them into game format with maximum possible resolution, or get some AI upscaller and enchance resolutions up to 4-8x to let textures be mostly 4k, then some manual editing could be done to fix some AI oddities if they occur after upscaling.
Oh another thing that really annoys me - modern low fov look of weapons with no separate fov slider for viewmodel - guys cmon weapons should be smaller and should have long arm, at least half of arm should be visible. Huge weapons are annoying, they dont let see things in front of you properly and they are affecting perception of world fov and still causing sickness, weapon fov should scale with world fov or should have separate slider in settings.
Also not sure if this bug related to fov, but flashlight source seem like set to be meter away from camera, so oif some character stands right in front of you, flashlight does not cast a light on it, but cast it behind him, you should check flashlight source placement and make it always dynamically hook to same coords camera has or even a little behind it.
