so I got the warning that my pc found Trojan:Win32/cerber during the installation.
what is it?

My anti-virus flagged and removed something after the recent update finished downloading. Did anyone else experience that and how concerned should I be?

My defender antivirus in Windows 10 detected a virus in BMS.exe with the following content - "Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml

As of the current moment, I have deleted the game completely. Hopefully this will be fixed in the near future.

Why deleting a game? Just put it into a white list so antivirus wont ♥♥♥♥♥. The game is safe

don't worry, steam would not allow a game with a virus inside of it on their website, i'm fairly certain steam does a virus check on games regularly. black mesa is 100% safe to have installed!

Guys, the patch notes mentioned false positive. Just tell the anti-virus to ignore it. Black Mesa is still safe to play.
