Half Life Decay

For those who have not played it:

Half life Decay is a fantastic Coop expansion for Half Life 1 on the PS2.
It follows in the footsteps of Doctor Green and Doctor Cross in the midst of the Black Mesa meltdown.

It would be great if someday a remake of Half Life Decay could be implemented into Black Mesa for a Coop feature.

I've mentioned that in my early access review too.
I really liked to play as Vortigaunt in Decay (secret mission). :D

Decay was unofficially ported to the PC by Ukrainian developers and released in 2008 as a mod for the Steam version of Half-Life.

Yeah, it is unofficially available on PC as a Half-Life mod. It is simply great!

Once Xen is complete is Decay source something the developers would consider? Could even be used as a mechanism to introduce a co-op version of the main game. I would certainly pay for Decay source as DLC.

We're not looking at remaking Decay, Blueshift or Opposing Force at the moment. We're first and foremost on remaking Half Life 1's core game.

Not to mention that there's already a different team remaking Opposing Force & Blue Shift.
Those mods are called "Operation: Black Mesa" and "Guard Duty" respectively.
