Sorry to say that but Mac isn't really suited for gaming...

At least TF2 works on it

It makes no sense that you switched to Mac and still hope to play games. Probably more than half (I'm trying no to say over 90%) of your Steam Library doesn't work anymore.

Is there a Wine equivalent for OSX?

Yeah, kinda sad how the only games on Mac are when they're famous enough to get a port...

Any obscure indie title wouldn't be on it...

That's not how that works.
The devs have stated that they were going to make a Mac version since source can apple.
They may still have a mac version in the pipeline we'll just have to wait and see.

Black Mesa getting an OSX and Linux port is nice but I'm talking about PC games in general

Yep, and it's Wine for macOS.
Waste of time for the dev team.

The devs have stated that a Mac port is in the pipeline making your opinion irrelevant, no matter how many times you spam the forum w/it.

Good then. So there's no need to worry

Yeah, it's totally a waste of time to allow more people to play the game /s
Those people are capable of using a PC or an emulator. The fact of the matter is, the amount of gamers on Mac is so small that it is really irrelevant to any game studio.

I wouldn't mind seeing BM coming to console either

Will there be a Black Mesa console port?
Nope, we are not able to do console ports for a number of reasons. Sorry!
