Black Mesa Wiki appears to be down or gone
Any particular reason?

Sorry I'm asking this here and not the Mod's website, but I don't have an account there.

Do they know why it went down? Updates? DOS attack? Faulty links? or something else?

I believe it went down while Hubi was trying to sort out the spam issues we were having on our own forums. He's planning on revamping the Wiki and setting up a new one at some point soon, so I think he won't put it back up until he's rebuilt it. Don't quote me on that, though, as I don't know for sure.
