Dear original poster who pirated the game,
Software Inc. is a great game and you should support the developer. But we all know you won't, so here's some support on your question on how to enable the debugging menu on your pirated games:
STEP 1:
Open Steam
STEP 2:
Click "Library > Games" at the top
STEP 3:
On the left side, all the way at the bottom, it says " + ADD A GAME...". Click that feature
3.1) Click "Add a Non-Steam Game"
3.2) Click "Browse" and go to where you've installed the game and choose the "Software
Inc. exe file"
NOTE:
Now your game is added to your library of games. Here is the next 3 easy to do steps to enable the debugging:
STEP 4:
In your steam library, right click on Software Inc in the list. Then click "Properties"
STEP 5:
Click on "Set launch options...". In the space, write:
-debugconsole
Then click OK and close the properties window
STEP 6:
Start the game.
When you load your file in the game, press the "home" button on your keyboard to bring up the debug menu. If you are using a laptop, hold the "Fn" key and then press the "Home" key.

No matter how old: F*****s like you are destroying small devs. Disgusting.
And then you thought it would be a good idea to advertise this fact to a discussion group where the creator and copyright holder may read it. I mean its not like your steam account can be linked to that admission....oh wait.
I am sorry he never told me it was pirated i wish you people would not blame me since again i didnt "buy the disc" he gave it to me didnt know it was pirated waiting a few days then gonna buy it
Honestly that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you didn't know it's pirated. He burned it to a disk. He probably gave you a disk with SOFTWARE INC. Written ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with a sharpie. Yet you didn't go "HMM THIS MUST BE PIRATED" If you really don't understand that. I have some propery for sale in singapore you might be interested in. Just man up, admit you pirated it, and buy the game to support a small developer.
