Breakdown event - use of 5 special chips?

We completed everything necessary to receive all the cosmetic rewards (yay). But some things leave us wondering:

1) The EXO Request Platform still shows some errors on its screen text

2) Although we've collected all five of the 1/5 - 5/5 chips (with their associated lore when you hover over them), we don't know what to do with them. Tried putting them on the EXO Request platform (on a medium storage on the side; it doesn't let you place them on the rocket or anything), in case their proximity would somehow fix its screen errors, but nothing happened.

Anybody know the answers to these?

I'm sorry to reply to your questions with a question but do you know how you got all five of the chips? I have also unlocked all of the cosmetics but only received one single chip so far

You have to keep pumping stuff into exo platform for care packages. It took me about an additional 60k in points to finally get the last one. I had over that time about 12 dups of #3

Hove over the chip and it will show a popup that let's you know it's number and it's lore.

Chip #4 was the rarest to find for me. No idea what to do with them either.

No ideas here either. I just kept doing the rewards until I had at least 2 of each. I ended up with 10 #2s before I got 2 of all the rest.

Did anyone try and take it to the station within the core sun simulation. I would give it a shot just to see but the save I used for the New Event, I didn't bother to go through the unlocks because of how much time it took to do that one. just a thought. Since it seems like its kinda tied to that previous event with the names. or at least I think it does from what I remember about "Simulation"

Well I just burned through it and didn't see anything related for those chips in the SUN ROOM. Maybe its for the next event?

I don't think much of their RNG. I've gotten 3 #1s, 5 #3s, 3 #5s and 19 #2s. Still no #4.

I got several #4's and just one #3 Still no word as to their purpose?

I had full intentions of using a good amount of burritos in order to fill up on a bunch of all 5, but getting so many #2s wore on my fun real quick like, so I stopped at getting at least 2 of each. #4 was the hardest one for me.

i ended up with a good spread of all 5 types, i still have 70+ burritoes left after blowing the doors off the final goal too, with the shipments of care packages still not done! all that aside, i took all of my chips to the sun room and found nothing and no way to use or interact with the chips...

70!? I have 3 left over and that was a grind, mostly for the mystery biofuel. fortunately I have a Swift Cauldrangea left over from another LTE and could make my own Noxothane :)

#4 was the rarest for me too, tried them in active storage and hooked up a button but nothing happened, I don't think it's meant to do anything at this point.
