Is a restart required? been trying on my own but I give up, how does one get scrap boxes for the timed mission?

No restart required. It should be intergrated into all of your saves.

Oh good to know, about the scrap packs for the Exo mission, do I find these somewhere, unlock a recipe for them or what? I have landing pads on all planets except Atrox, I always like to set up near a gateway when there not hundreds of feet in the air of course.

No recipe. You need to package up debris with a packager.

You are referring to the limited time EXO event right? If so, then yes, just packagers.

Oh man, no way! i SO coulda had this done by now, thanx for telling me.

I screwed up again and restarted again. REALLY wish they would fix the floating halfway up to planetary orbit gateway thing.

Is this the event with the weird looking plant called |-|4|\|4 that looks like a plant with metal leaves that is printable? If so, you can print those and make the process a bit easier. But, it sorta sounds to me like you aren't that far into the game to have a proper scrap farm set up. I personally still think it would be faster/easier to setup an automatic scrap farm.

There is ususally at least one gateway per planet that is a pain to get to. Either way high in the sky or buried in a mountain. May as well aquiesce to that.

I JUST got one set up but Atrox messed me up, though I'll take the blame. Should have brought Stilgar with me, then I wouldnt have died and lost all my exotic stuff.
