Controller Support

Is it only me that has the issue where the controller just doesnt work right with this game. Like sometimes when hints pop up it wont show the icon for the button im suppose to press to perform that action and when it sais close i have to go to my keyboard and press Q to close it, I cant just press B on my 360 controller. An when I go to controller presets in the menu non of the buttons show up

It seems that they messed up the controller-support of this game.
It is false advertising bc the shop-page promises "full controller-support".

So my guess is that they will fix these issues & the fps-lock with the 1st patch .

Ok just making sure it wasnt only me with these issues, hopefully they fix this soon cause i canrt stand playing games like this on keyboard and mouse

yep. have to juggle between my keyboard and steam controller. not just to press q or tab but sometimes use the mouse.

Yep I have the same problem what a load of ♥♥♥♥♥.

I found a temp solution:
Use the "KB/M"-preset of the Steam-Controller.
U need 2 spend some time 2 bind the default KB-controls 2 all the buttons in the config-menu of the controller but it will work.
All gamepad-linked presets will not work.

Also important:
Right touchpad (Mouse-controls) will also work.

edit: i think its only two of the buttons that are not working, action key i.e open doors and pick stuff up

well for some people its working fine, but for most its not.

So if its working perfect for you, what are you using, wired or wireless?

Do you have the drivers installed manually or did it install automatically?

does the B button work for you, and the X? X is action button I believe?

If I can figure out what the difference is then maybe we can correct it for a fix....

Im having this issue too, apart from my keys dont work either on some actions.

I gave up on the steam link. The controller worked fine, but the controller layout was blank and any button prompts were blank in the game which resulted in parts that I couldn't pass without using a keyboard. I hope they fix that in the first patch. This was primarily with a Xbox One S controller.

GUYS i found teh key fix. Dont rebind your keys aa it ♥♥♥♥♥ up the game. Causing keys not to work

It works fine with my xbox one controller but when I try my ps4 or xbox 360 controller it doesnt work right...

yes keyboard keys. I think they fixed it now though.
