It never was my intention to go MP, I use to go alone in new areas, but there are some quests that you need to repeat, for grinding, etc. Doing this with other people adds fun to this boring part.
Some items are available only on certain missions, as a consequence you will do them so many times that eventually you'll feel disgusted only to think about how many _more_ times you have to go through the same mission to have enough items. The grind is exacerbated by the poor inventory management.
The first ten hours will be fine, while you discover how the game works and appreciate the quirk humour.
Then it becomes a chore.
Yeah, have to agree, having to do the same missions over and over again just to gather specific resources for your camp gets really old. After you "unlock" a mission with certain items, like those f-ing steel pistons that every stupid building in your camp seems to need a million of to upgrade, then you should be able to start finding them randomly in new missions instead of having to go back and farm the same old ones over and over. I must say that base building and upgrading is the one aspect of this game I don't care for.
I prefer the term "Little Pr*cks"
