Final Fantasy X and FFX2 Re-Remaster mod archive?

A couple of months ago I downloaded a mod from Nexus Mods titled "FFX and FFX2 Re-Remastered -- now true HD remasters" from this link[www.nexusmods.com] that did just what the title says and quite nicely at that.

Unfortunately, I only downloaded the file for FFX and it seems the mod's author deactivated their profile and hid the mod page too, so I was wondering if anyone has an archive or can redirect me to wherever this mod is now being hosted (if that's the case).

tried the wayback machine on that link and it comes up with a different mod sorry. however, theres another hd texture pack on the 1st page (oldest page)

Yeah, I have tried the pack you mention but I wasn't too happy with how it looks given how the mod I'm referring to was done with a newer upscaling model and looked way better... though it seems I'll have to resort to it in case I can't find what I'm looking for. Thanks for your help!

I just ran into this same issue. Hopefully someone can recompile it at some point.

I've just found out that even if the mod is not reachable anymore, the files are still available via the direct links:

Not sure if I'm missing something here, but the links you posted show the "Hidden mod" notice and nothing else. Are the files supposed to be downloaded in any specific way?

I can confirm I downloaded these files today... If I click the links I get the same error. Copying and pasting the text of the links works for me though!

No prob :) I'm not sure I remember how to install the mod though, it just needs both the external file loader and the mod files in the game installation directory?

Yes, it needs the external file loader that is bundled with the mod. Just drop those files in the game's root directory. As for the texture themselves, the

ffx_data

folder goes inside

data > mods
