The only solution would likely be emulation. Which is borderline illegal, and therefore not something you should be doing.
"Illegal" haha okay. I'm just pulling the disc image off of my own PS2 copy and playing it on software on my PC. Nothing illegal about that. Thanks anyway.
If you want the old experience the only thing you can do is hook up a PS2 to an old 4:3 line TV.
Not exactly, they introduced new textures over the old meshes. Of which I hate the new character textures; I prefer the old style. I also take it you aren't too familiar with the work on the PCSX2 emulator? You can (I did) upload the disc image to your PC and use PCSX2 to play the game. You can even run PCSX2 through Steam for easy controller support. Also you can a) patch the game for 16:9 ratio, and b) upscale the rendering all the way up to 8k; even though 8k is a bit ridiculous. 1080 is plenty good imo. There are also people who have upscaled the old PS2 graphics to 4k too. Check out the texture swaps on gbatemp.net or just find the youtube videos comparing this HD remaster to the fan made upscaling.

>I like old style
>You like new style
Both of these things can be true.
And there have been a lot of model changes:

(and that scene shows how drastic the visuals have changed in some scenes - the characters do not fit into the scene at all - they look as if they were cropped in).
Just... don't try and turn it into some kind of personal insult as though the devs set out to destroy your beloved aesthetic because they're mean-spirited, malicious miscreants.
Me personally? I just don't care. I never noticed the new animations as standing out in some kind of negative way, and it really just does not reach anywhere I give a hoot about. The graphics are better overall - that's all that matters to me in that department.
