Items for Alchemist (FFX-2) ?

Is there a point in the game where you can straight up purchase items like "Arctic Wind" or "Bomb Core" etc. ? Right now, my only way of acquiring items like these is to use "steal" via the thief dressphere, which is very time consuming and mind numbing.

The best source of items like these is Bribe (from the Lady Luck dress sphere). You tend to get multiple items in one go that way, though it can cost a lot of gil depending on the enemy.

The Bribe amount for Bribe to succeed is enemyMaxHP * 6.25 in gil, but the amount of items scales with gil spent.

You can also get a free Bribe via the Random Reels ability on Lady Luck, by hitting 7 7 7 on the reels.

Personally used alchamist's Stash skill back on the ps2 version. while the item from it takes longer to use, it dose not eat into what you already own. 2 dark knights using darkness and a alchemist using a free mega-potion every turn was surprisingly strong during the main story.
