Gil Farming Using x4 Speed

Farming One-Eye and just selling the drops I was able to get ~3.55 million Gil per hour, plus about 60 Dark Matter per hour.

Farming Kottos to craft SOS Regen on Tetra Armor, I was able to get ~6.11 million Gil per hour, plus about 8 Dark Matter per hour.

So farming Kottos was about +72% more Gil per hour, which is nice, but the Dark Matter difference is crazy. Basically you're buying the Dark Matter at roughly 49,000 Gil each, which is a steal. I think One-Eye is the way to go. Plus it's simpler, and I hate stopping every two Kottos fights to craft half a dozen pieces of armor.

And I stand by them. The only reason you still need gil after that is to spam Zanmato I guess.

If you want to argue you don't need to farm gil for that either, then there isn't much reason you need to farm gil after being able to farm Yojimbo now is there?

Using Zanmato to win everything isn't actually winning. If you are doing that you don't even need to do the tonberry trick.

Just get some first strike weapons and throw money at Yojimbo.
