Final Fantasy X World

So FFX is my favourite one I have over 150,000 hours on this game on PS2 and I am a Final Fantasy savant as well, I've 100% beat all the games on console including 14 and now doing them on PC though already did 14 on PC too, Anyway I already know FFX-3 is happening and FF9 is being remade and FF8 is being remade.

I haven't played Rebirth or 16 yet though but i was wondering if somebody wanted to add me to talk about FFX and how possibly FFX-3 could happen, i find it largely interesting but all my friends are you know pro FPS players and stuff, It's hard to actually find people who play Final Fantasy at all.

I have friends who play them but not like i play them lol just wouldn't mind an interesting conversation about the state of the fayth, The dreams and so on and who most likely will feature as the MC in X-3

I do know people who work at Square Enix Japan but their good people like me so they largely won't be dishonest and leak anything unfortunately.

Just really can't wait to see it, Obviously it's going to be at least another 10 years or so before it even get's announced correctly but idk having more Final Fantasy friends who actually know what Reflect means and knows what it means when I say Magitek Armour and who doesn't call Chocobo's chickens 🤦‍♂️ would be nice.

I hope X-3 takes place wayyy in the future when Yuna is old and wrinkled. The whole world of Spira will be back to the original Zanarkand days with a new war waiting around the corner. And I assume Sin will come back in some way to end the world? I have a lot of ideas, theories, but who knows what the story will be about. I would love to play a Zanarkand based FF.

First I hear of anything regarding another sequel for X. Not that surprising though considering the soul sucking leech of a company SE is.

They simply aren't a company I trust with quality anymore on anything other than making their games look good. A few fleeting moments for some of their newer games actually being good, doesn't make up for 90 % of it being garbage (I'm looking at you KH3)

I have played X more than any other FF game though. Can't say I care much for X-2. It was interesting at the time to me because it expanded on the world, but got too Sailor Moon like for me to care ultimately. Wasn't it also the first official game put by the company after the merger?

If I'm being hopelessly optimistic, I'll chip in and say that I hope they'll make the combat akin to something like FFXIII. Even though that game is terrible, the late-game is amazing and really fun to play due to the combat alone.

Honestly I can't believe it will be good though. In my opinion the only good game Square Enix ever put out was Kingdom Hearts 2 - Specifically Final MIx, because vanilla was
dogs hite.

How do you encourage yourself to play FFX after so many hours invested ? I understand you were exaggerating, but I'm still guessing you've clocked in a ton. I've replayed it a total of 5 times now and I'm pretty sure I've done everything I wanted to for that game.

I agree with your entire post. But I agree even more with the last part. I've put in so much time over the years that there's nothing left to do except start over from scratch. If there ever is a remake then I hope they add extra content and make it worth buying. Otherwise it's just the same game all over again but with better graphics. A mere cash grab as the say.
