Steam Deck freezing

I start a new game and it freezes on the intro. Anybody else?

Since the most recent deck upgrades, this game is toast. We have all tried different protons and no dice. I've had it freeze on the pause screen.

Now I have to stream it from my computer when I play.

It seems like the intro was fixed with 7.0 but sounds like you guys are still having troubles, lame

I have no problem starting a new game. BUT, I'm having serious issues with battles. EVERY single random battle goes black and I can force the ESC menu to appear and hit resume and it will load, but doing this for every single random battle is incredibly annoying. Was hoping there was a fix by now.

Change ur game to proton 7 and it will work fine!

after Proton 7 - they still work on FFX Problems
most likely Proton 8.0-5:
- Fixed Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster crashing during combat.
- Fixed Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster crashing after Steam Cloud save updates sets resolution to Non-Deck-Native.
