Resetting Blitzball League Prize

Hey all,

Quick question, I finished a blitzball league and received the status reels. I then immediately started a tournament and got the Auroch Reels. I want to try to get the next league prize to the be jupiter sigil but I'm unsure how to get it to reset the prize.

I have 2 saves:

A. I saved before the final tournament match in which I received the Auroch Reels.

B. I saved after the final tournament match in which I received the Auroch Reels.

For both of these saves, I havn't begun the new league. I tried exiting the game and reloading with my B save but it didn't seem to reset the league prize. On one of the sites, it says to save before the last match of the tournement (which I did with save A). If I keep replaying the tournament with save A, will I eventually see the jupiter sigil for the league prize?

I really don't want to go through another league if I can avoid it...

Sorry, you have to load game B and finish the league.

The league's prizes reset after you've finished the league. Once you select "Play Blitzball" the game will randomize the prizes and will show you what they are. From that point on, even if you don't play any league games, the prizes will be locked until you play through all 10 league games.

Since you were playing tourney games this whole time, your league prizes are locked to be the prizes that were selected when you were playing the tourney games. The league prizes were selected WAY before Game A was saved.

You can use all weak defenders, get scored on, and forfeit to go through the games slightly faster. It's a ripe pain in the behind tho'.

You need to finish the 10 games in league, then after you've finished the 10th game, EXIT AND SAVE. Then, you can save, select "play blitzball" and if you don't like those prizes, reset and reload.

Ah darn, thanks for the help guys. Guess I'll have to grind through 2 more seasons before im done with BB haha

Your league was already determined as these guys said. You either play the League twice or reset team data until you get the next one.
