[NLD] [FFX/X-2] Farplane - Memory Editing Tool

I just wanted to let people know about a tool I am working on, so I can get some feedback on my progress so far.

Farplane - FFX/X-2 HD Remaster Editor

What is it?

Farplane is a memory editor for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster. It modifies values in the game's memory, allowing you to edit your stats, abilities, equipment, items and much more.

Version 0.5.0 Changelog

This version fixes several bugs

- [FFX] Blitzball skill editor only setting Tidus' skills
- [FFX] Fixed offset for base defense
- [FFX-2] Fixed accessories panel showing incorrect data

These features have been added

- [FFX] Equipment editor now supports several new options
- Damage calculation formula
- Attack power and critical chance
- Delete items and correctly create a new item in an empty slot

- [FFX] Mod scripting support
- Runs C#-based scripts compiled when the editor is loaded
- See the script files (*.cs) in the mods folder
- More details and features coming soon

The following mod scripts are included
- Break HP/MP Limit
- Break Damage Limit
- Add Seymour to party
- Automatic free camera toggle

The following boosters are now mod scripts and are no longer available

The player stats aren't random though. Some players are better than others regardless of how high their level is. So I would highly recommend you go out and recruit players for your team and then maybe modify their EXP or Level. Remember that sometimes Modifying a Level doesn't update the stats to represent that level so that might be a bad idea. Back up your save before doing ANYTHING.

Is it possible to implement a free-moving camera system during combat? Camera angles in it are very janky.

How do you manipulate the camera in FFX? I'm using a PC.

Check the mapped Keys in the game options. If that fails then the game does support controllers so just plug one in. I use my PS4 controller myself.

Yes, I knew that but I wanted to see if we could modify the stats of the players so that I could rebalance the stats that I find rather unbalanced (Kippa style is a joke, sorry I don't know his name in English anymore ahah )

There might be tools out there that allow it. Could probably do it with Cheat engine if you can find a script somebody made. But sadly not this tool.

Unfortunately I doubt it. Playstation has developed alongside Microsoft's Xbox for some years now and as such is becoming more and more compatible with PC as a result. Sadly that is not the case with Nintendo. You might be able to connect the controller to your PC via Bluetooth though I don't know about that. However it might not even function as the drivers would likely not exist and if they do they would probably be third party.

Kinda like how you could use PS3 controllers on PC but you needed a third party Driver to do it. PS4 doesn't have that issue thankfully and is completely compatible with PC.

Yeah i had the game running and loaded my save, before opening the tool... couldn't find the FFX game app. It could locate my spotify app though

Also have the issue with it not detecting FFX. I'm running the Gamepass version of the game on my PC. Launched both in regular and admin mode. Selected option to always show all processes as the list is empty otherwise. It's detecting Discord and various other things, but never Final Fantasy X.

Gamepass games are notoriously difficult to modify. Might be running in a way that doesn't allow Farplane to work :(

that feature is all im looking for but they all sound cool
