[FFX Tool] Chocobo Race Time Freezer Trainer

Literally just slapped this together using a cheat engine table (included).

Launch the trainer.exe and hit SHIFT + 1 on your keyboard during a chocobo race/training to freeze time. You will hear a single beep when its enabled.

You may need to alt tab to get the trainer to respond
You will get 0.0 in every single race and earn the Sun Sigil on the first try.

I have included the Cheat Engine table for those who dont want to run the .exe - that requires cheat engine to work.

NOTE: This was made using Cheat Engine which comes up as a false positive for some antivirus programs. As noted above, they all acknowledge its just CheatEngine and not an actual virus. I recommend pausing AV before extracting/running.



As an alternative, use the Save Game Editor + guide to gift yourself the item and skip the races completley.

Alternatively you can just use a tool like Farplane to give yourself the Sun Sigil after the race, regardless of the time. You will probably need to beat the trainer once, though, to get the Caladbolg (but that it trivial).

its best to just goto the cheatengine website and download a CE table

search for Shinkansen FINAL FANTASY X HD Remaster V1004
it has all you need

I can't seem to change the values at all -_- I've started the minigame and then pausing after a while, but nothing changes in the CT, hence I can't modify the values....

Values not changing either means you didnt activate the option properly or the address was changed due to a previous update and the table would need to be updated.

you can do it with no cheat you just need to practice :)

personally when i farm sphere exp i use the superpower to prevent me from dying other than that go ahead and challenge your skills :)

Hi guys. The chocobo freeze timer thing is not working for me, I press SHIFT 1, and I hear the noise, but the timer does not freeze. Any fixes? I had used this successfully on my older laptop running windows 7. Now I am using a newer laptop with windows 10.

I'm sitting in quarantine with ♥♥♥♥ all to do other than to replay this game I haven't played in at least 16 years. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience until I hit this point - I remember I did the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ race twice when I was a teen, but at this point in my life I simply don't have the time and/or the nerve to try to win this stupid race, not least because I play these games to have fun and this race is doing the opposite. Thank you!!!

ffx doesnt have any drm you dont even need steam running

i agree i wish steam would lock achivments if anything in the game folders gets edited from the base values/files originaly installed

im not trying to be mean just if your going to cheat to get something then theres literilly no point in playing the game as the whole point is to obtain the items and play through the game (not just saying to this game but in general) these were ment to be a challange to get simply couse of there strengths

ill give the chocobo is prolly the hardest mini game in the whole game even the lightning is a joke to this (pro tip forlightning just go to the first creater at the top of the first section of the map as you enter the thunderplanes and wedge yourself between thata nd the wall so you dont move and equip a avoid monster item) the chocobo isnt impossiable but is time consumming and coudl take a few hours really only tip for this is focus on the balloons and birds nothing else dont pay attetion to anything else but the balloons and birds infront of you and if the set up starts off bad then just restart the match as this is pretty much just shear dumb luck on the spawns
