Who the hell thought it was a good idea to make Blitzball Leagues last 10 matches?

Getting Wakka's Jupiter Sigil is the worst ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing in the game.

You're just going to have to deal with it, just like all of the other players of Final Fantasy X since 2001.

What you do is: Run matches so that the best players on the enemy teams need to renew contract. Have one of your guys run out on the same game. Forfeit games over and over until 1 game left, save, forfeit. The enemy team should hire *your* guy, leaving you able to hire theirs.

Nimrook, the goalie for the Al Bhed Psyches, is one of the best in the game, so nabbing him like this makes the ABP much easier, and you much stronger :D

I'm just using cheat engine to win every match, so that isn't the issue.

The issue is that blitzball matches take ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forever to get through.

Each match is 10 minutes if you can get a lead, less if you can score like crazy. Yeah, an hour and a half per League is slow... but it could be worse :P I'd rather have 100 minutes of Blitzball over 100 minutes of Catcher Chocobo or Lightning Dancer

well if you are cheating already, why not just use the save editor to give yourself the item?

If you do not enjoy bb so be it. i enjoy it in spurts but cannot play it constantly i do a tourney go do other stuff or play other games come back to it later.

I cheated the chocobo races i could not be arsed to get a 0 0 0 0 time in that annoying pos race.

all you have to do is get in the lead and sit inside YOUR goal AI just swims around and makes for an easy win they dont do anything

What table are you using? because the one I saw you can give yourself a score of 99 and skip the match completely by setting the timer to 300 seconds.

Try spending 60+hrs rebuilding a sphere grid.
Fighting the Earth eater 250+ times for fortune spheres.
Fighting Iron Giants 100+ times to get HP spheres.

Unlocking the Sphere grid master achievement only once every damned node has been filled in and activated.
Then realise you need to do that for all 7 characters, 4 of which haven't seen a battle since the moonflow.

There's worse things than Blitzball. Trust me

or really you could just sit next to your goal and run the timer down since the A.I bugs outs, you can get the jupiter sigil in 4 hours.

It's easy, just time consuming and repetitive. Tidus/Wakka as your LF and RF. Brother as your MF. Ropp and Wedge as your LD and RD. Jumal as your GL. It is hard not to lose with these guys. It's best to do this after you get the airship I think, just so it's easier to move around and recruit. Wakka and Brother will be on the ship, Wedge and Jumal will be in Luca (Wedge guarding the stadium and Jumal sitting on the bench in the town square area where the cafe and bar are, and Ropp is at the Al Bhed Inn in Mi'ihen Highroad.

If you're low levels just spend the first couple games of the league passing the ball to mainly Brother, Tidus, and Ropp, don't even worry too much about Wakka or Wedge. Then after that you should be leveled enough to overcome most of the other teams easily. And from there you just spam Jecht Shot, and use Brother to break and also shoot. Score once or twice and then use the glitched AI to go to your own goal and wait out the timer. Rinse and repeat.

That doesn't work for me on anything other than the mandatory storyline match, for some reason.

But I know what you mean, OP. I'm actually trying to get the Sigil right now, and I still have to beat the current league to make it appear. This minigame is unnecessarily long.

GL trying to get ropp early on hell i think i waited like 60 games for him to be free till i had enough and just edited him onto my team :P.

Nimrook was released like after 40 games and got him, but just got sick of checking ropps time playing a few games coming back playing oh they signed him again for 20 games signed him again etc. Rage quit at that point

Not like i needed the awesome golie with brother at mid the ball hardly every gets to our side of the pool. ropp is nice to have as a defender that can pass.
