the chest in front of the arena doesn't appear

the chest containing the nirvana doesn't appear even if I have collected all the monster of the calm lands. any idea why ?
the strange thing, I had a savegarde on my PS3 and the chest is there ( and opened) even if I didn't talk with the manager in order to collected the reward.
So I don't have any idea of what I am missing

yes I have it and the issue isn't to open it but to have it appear.

you have to capture monsters first I think. did you get at least one of every monsters in the calm lands?

Are you sure you've collected all the monsters? I was having a similar issue but it turns out I hadn't caught the Ogre (appears north west). When you're looking at the monsters you've caught some areas have a second page (hit right) which I didn't realise.

yes the manager gave me de objects as a reward, I have looked a some video and the chest sould appear before he gives them to you ( in fact all the monster had at least 1, I had the reward, but the list was only for the calm land I couldn't get the other region)
I went back several saveguard and redid everything and it work so I had a bug that make me lose 3h of gameplay ( mostly blitzball) but the 0.00 time for the chocobo ( that's painfull to redo )

EDIT: nvm you need Gagazet monsters for the Magus Sisters, not for Nirvana

Are you sure you have the Celestial Mirror and not the Cloudy Mirror? You have to upgrade it in Macalania Woods first.

The mirror is just to open the chest, you don't need it for the chest to appear.

You can get the chest before obtaining the Cloudy/Celestial Mirror..

Anyways, make sure to capture all of those monsters (there are nine) and then talk to the manager. If the chest still doesn't appear, try checking with the manager to see how many monsters it says you have captured. If there are indeed nine species, then there is a problem with your game.
