Script to auto-grind
I want to make a script to let my party auto-walkning into some corner with auto battle turned on so they can level some AP while I'm AFK.

Do you guys know how to make a script that:

Make your character keep walking into some diretion + keeping "C" get pressed?

I've never made a script before. Thanks

why would you want a script for this ? there are couple easier methods to gain fast AP you dont have to write a script for this

There are methods to farm AP. And, there is auto battle, increase encounter rate, and and simply moving around in game.

I want to farm gil as well...plus the script would let me farm in easy mob while I go to work and stuff...

If the task to is to simply save time then the save editor would probably work better. Or, simply boost to items and gil. The item one gives you spheres that you can almost complete the sphere grid without moving(except for empty ones).

I think save editing would be the most efficient here.

If you want the slow route, and if you use a gamepad, put a rubber band on the stick to keep it pointed in a direction.

Just do what I do..

Rubberband your gamepad and put a weight on the Cross button.

Push F3 (enemy encounter frequent) F4 (Auto battle) and either tie a rubber band around the sticks or weight the movement key.

But you still have to press a button to get through the results screen after every battle.

I used "Pulover's Macro Creator" to make a script that just holds down the C key (FFX2)

I set the cursor mode to memory and make the first action with each character of the battle (it remembers the last repeated action for each character). Then I activate the macro. Then I balance something on the W key (or whatever you mapped forward movement to). Pretty sure you can do both, but I like being able to cancel the movement manually so I don't have to freak out trying to turn the macro off if my team is about to die after I forgot about them.

That software is free and lets you record the actions you want. Beware using left/right walk commands as this will interefere in battle and you can end up attacking your own people =)
