Fixes to try when game crashes/won't load that worked for me

Hi All

I have a home built gaming PC running Windows 10 and a Dell XPS laptop running windows 8. I had problems with the launcher and with game crashes on both - these are the steps I took to get both working smoothly for those of you having issues.

1 - Verify game cache

2- Run the FFX.exe in Windows 7 compatibility mode (right click on the FFX.exe, properties, compatibility, compatibility mode)

3 - Turn off read only mode on files (Windows 10 glitch that was interfering with all my Steam games)

i - SteamLibrary>steamapps>Final Fantasy FFX&FFX-2HD Remaster folder. Right click on the Final Fantasy FFX&FFX-2HD Remaster folder, uncheck the read only button, click apply then Ok.

ii - Repeat with the Square Enix save folder in your documents

4 - Adjust your display settings in the settings link on the launcher

5- If your launcher is still being glitchy try right clicking the FFX.exe and run as administrator.

Other tips that didn't work for me but suggested by others:
1 - Disable anti virus
