Bribe Question

I tried to bribe a Chimera from the arena to get 16 Underdog's Secret but instead of having it, I ended up having 12 mana tonic. Aren;t those Chimera the same with the Chimera at home? I supposed to have Underdog's secret, no? Or should I increased my bribe? I bribe it with 180,000

No the Calm Lands Chimera are diffrent from the one you fight in Home.

Yeah it has to be the Chimera's at Home, if you've past that point then you can get them from defeating Th'uban in the monster arena.

Each monster has a normal drop item and also a RARE drop item thats a very low % for it to drop, steal or whatever. But as the above posters have said, the two chimeras are different, the item you seek is only dropped by the Home Chimera. As Shiny has stated though.. you CAN indeed get more from Th'uban.

Th'uban is still too much for me at the moment. I guess I'll have to farm more Don Tonberry.

Varuna has a chance to drop double overdrive weapons, so you could just capture one in the Omega Ruins and farm him. Or better yet, if you capture one of each monster, the arena guy will give you 99 winning formulas, which you can use to customize triple overdrive.
