Really, i show you my respect. I remembered it was a feeling like "smashing the controller like in the super mario kart aera"- choco racing was done in half an hour, temple remium (don´t know if its also the name in the english version) chocobo garbage in one hour, dodge lightnings (with loud music, a can of coffee with a drinking straw... piece of cake. But that stupid butterfly chase, omg.... ! :-)

It's literally all about ballon RNG at the start, it'd go a lot faster if you had a restart option instead of havnig to finish and restart every time

I was never able to get anwywhere near 0.0.0 on the PS2 version, but I just tried for the first time yesterday and did it perfectly! You'll get it, it's much easier now on the PC version it seems.

Butterflies are cake compared to the choocobo thing. Reds and blues are in the same spots almost every time once you done it a few times profit.

The chocobo thing i only beat her to the first 4 balloons one time most of the time she is a hair faster than you off the start, nm hitting the balloons is a real pita. i think i got one then oh no you missed it.

Too old to have the patience for some of this stuff anymore. :P.

i thought the chocobo race was stupid aswell in the beginning (when i first had to beat her for the normal reward) had some bad races later then and the 5. in a row (10 races in total maybe) i managed to do it even with ignoring the first 2 baloons, because i couldnt get in front of her anyways.

Considering the butterflys now...seems like iam colorblind :D

75% of the chocobo race is getting a good start, the other 25% is just not screwing up (= getting hit by a bird) for the rest of the race. If you manage to be in front of the trainer when you turn the first corner and have her get hit by the birds that try to hit you - resulting in her getting hit twice in a row - that's exactly the start you're looking for. At that point it's just grabbing balloons as they come and going as fast as possible. You don't want to swerve around so much that you have to face a second pair of birds in one stretch, it's best to forego a balloon or two to be on the safe side.

I don't get why people think the butterfly hunt is so hard? It's easy as ♥♥♥♥. The butterflies are always in the same place, and you're basically just running in a line.

well you can get hit by a bird but you have to collect 13 baloons to make up for the loss and also have to finish at around 35~ seconds

I played this race to help a friend. I was making fun of him when he told me "I hate this mini game it's driving me nuts". So I got his IDs and got to it by myself, all alone.

I SWEAR THIS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MINI GAME CAN BE DIRECTLY CORRELATED TO ANYONE'S MENTAL HEALTH. I SCREAMED AND LAUGHED LIKE A MAD MAN AND I DID NOT EVEN TRY MORE THAN 20 TIMES. THIS IS PURE INSANITY.

lol, So salty, this is SUCH an easy mini game. So insanely easy. Huge balloons that are nearly impossible to miss, and birds that can be dodged in the same way with 100% accuracy over and over.

Meh, I remember this from years back on the ps2.
Takes a while to pull all those things off like dodging 200 lightning strikes and win this race under 0 sec.

Got all celestial weapons eventually, and I have to hand it to Square Enix, it was not worth the effort at all, lol.
They are really obsessed with game-ception tough, lets put a game in your game so you can game when you game!
