Grind kills for Don Tonberry

Quick question, where is the fastest way to grind kills for my toons so I can get the most AP from Don Tonberry? My Rikku only has 35 kills lmao, and I need to finish her stat maxing. Could I use the Monster arena, or does that not count?

You want Overdrive to AP and her Overdrive set to Comrade for Don Tonberry.

Or alternatively do the same with Cactuar King. Just spam guard and watch him pummel you with 10k and 99k needles without worrying about farming kills for Karma.

Monster arena counts, and in fact was the recommended way to grind kills. Get a turbo controller, and fight dingos over and over foe a couple hours. Now that we have the turbo option and more encounter, it's a lot easier to do without a turbo controller.

No chance of a wipe with Auto-Pheonix. You can get 60 S.levels in a few minutes, why do anything else?

If you can get Triple Overdrive and Triple AP, each death is like 15 S.Levels. It's stupid

The yevon zombies in Zanarkand count twice (as two fiends), so they are the best method to push your kills.

I just did, Zanmato for Earth Eater for a Triple OD weapon, tacked on Double AP.
96 Sphere levels later, Rikku is a killing machine.

if the character you want to lvl doesnt have very many kills for the don tonberry trick, just set their overdrive mode to comrade and have the other 2 char that do have high kills hit tonberry while the person u are lvling up revive them.
