Report a translation problem
Yeah, was at it for a good half hour solid using the 360Controller. Got bored so tried the arrow keys and managed it within 5 minutes.
I need some helpful well thought out advice to stop getting stuck and missing when I am what I would swear a safe distance from the bird or on top of the bloon.
When I was doing my runs on this, I focused on the first part of the race. The part after the first turn depends on skill avoiding the birds and luck with the balloon positions.
- Don't try to get ahead of the trainer, just follow your initial line and get around 3+ balloons. If I didn't get 3+ balloons at the start, I just treat the rest of the race as dodge practice. 5 balloons at start means game face on since it's a huge advantage. Don't try to go too far out of your chocobo's path just to get some balloons near the turn.
- After the first turn, there usually is a balloon free for the taking. Run it a few times with this in mind and you'll know what I mean.
- Focus on dodging on the part after the turn. If you get hit twice, treat the run as practice and reserve your strength for the next round.
- Even if the trainer gets ahead, you can use her as a shield. But don't force yourself to be behind. If you overtake, you overtake. Take what balloon you can without sacrificing mobility. Don't stray too far from the chocobo's path or you'll get some serious control issues.
- Prioritize on dodging and hope for a nice balloon line-up on the 2nd turn. At the second turn, still prioritize on dodging.
- You need roughly 13+ balloons without getting hit or 14+ if hit once usually.
This guy got hit twice, finished at 36.9s. If he didn't get hit, he can probably finish at 34s or less, which is equal to 12 balloons to break 0:0:0.
I swear Tidus and LuLu have two of the stupidest hardest challanges to get Sigils for... Kimahri's is pretty annoying too but its at least reasonable compaired to Lulu's 200 dodges and Tidus's 0.00 race.
