Go to your sytem sound control panel and make sure it's set to 44100 Hz (44khz). On my Windows 10 system the game sound stops playing if it's set higher than that.

The exact same thing symptom happened to me. No sound effects or voice overs are audible but the music is fine. Is this the same problem you had? And how exactly did you unmute it in the launcher? All I see in settings is a master volume slider that is already at 100%, also all volume settings to in the GameSetting.ini file are already at 100.

I hope this is what the reviews were talking about on the store page!

Quite a few negative reviews because of no sound.... If this is the issue, they really need to try Google, or the discussion forums!

Thanks Hawkeye.

My actual issue turned out that I somehow partially, very slightly, pulled the audio cord out of the jack in the back panel - I couldn't even tell I had by looking at it! When I pushed it all the way back in (I physically felt that, even though I couldn't see it waspulled out), only then I got sound again.

The way I was able to verify that sound was working from a software level was by opening the volume mixer, launching the game in windowed mode, and at the main screen where you choose New game or Load game, I held down on the d-pad.

I could see the volume bar raising in the mixer, so something had to be transmitting, but just not coming out of the speakers.

Game has been fine since then
