[SPOILER] I just missed an Al Bhed Primer
I'm already grinding my way towards the end game stats and completing the entire sphere grid for the entire party but I didn't realized I missed ONE Al Bhed Primer in Home (The one outside on the left) and I am torn right now if I should repeat the game or just grind my way until I can fight dark ifrit. :( Anyone else on the same boat as I am or nah? :(((

You can use a save file that has all of them and merge them to your save (in Miihen Road or Baaj temple, for example).

Take this save file for that (it isn't mine, it was posted on Neogaf, I think): https://www.dropbox.com/s/wofj8cuwjc58g24/ffx_020?dl=0

Is that a save file that has a complete al bhed primers? How do I use that?

Paste the file in "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\Square Enix\FINAL FANTASY X&X-2 HD Remaster\FINAL FANTASY X".

If you already have a file called "ffx_020", just rename it with another number. After that, go to the inn in Miihen Road with your latest save file, interact with that sphere that is in the ground and select the save file I gave you. It will be at the bottom probably because of the date (May 13rd). And that's all :).

You will always be able to collect all of them. If you miss a primer in a location you can not reach anymore they will appear later on in a "special location", mostly in desert. Do not worry!

Not the one at home, it is totallly missable unless you defeat dark ifrit.

Are you sure? Because every guide I know says there are 4 that are permanently missable (19 to 22). There are a few that appear somewhere else later, but those four don't.

It works! Thank you so much! Now I can get the Underdog's secret from Rin.

I think he's referring to the al bhed primer that can be missed in the ship going to Luca which can be found again in Bikanel Island
I missed one in the Al Bhed Home in my original play though on the PS2. I didn't own International version with the full endgame. I started up another run on this remaster to finally 100% the game. The memories and the feels came flooding back and then I missed one primer in the Al Bhed Home. again... I'm glad that save file worked. I don't have time to grind JRPGs like when I was younger.
