First NSG attempt

Considering I already 100%'d the Remaster on PS3 i felt like trying an NSG (No Sphere Grid) run for the first time. I didn't plan anything out, didn't farm for materials or rare drops or anything and i'm generally unprepared. I'm currently in Bikanel and so far it's been going quite smoothly although fighting the Al Bhed Crawler, Seymour, Anima & Seymour again all in a row without charged Aeon Overdrives was somewhat of a wake up call. Is there anything i should really prepare for in order to make sure i will be able to complete this run or will me brute forcing it keep working out? I've stayed away from this for so long because I always expected it to be impossible without the right preperation so I'm quite surprised with how far I have already made it.

I beat NSG on the original US PS2 version, so here's some important tips (assuming they haven't been changed in some way).
- Farm Bombs in the Airship for Fireproof stuff. The fights immediately after Evrae are impossible without it.
- Get the stuff for Trio of 9999 or the last quarter of the game will kick the ♥♥♥♥ out of you.
