how does 99 items parameter work?
I know it doesn't give you key items for obvious reasons but how does it actually work?
like do you get a one off 99 of absolutely everything like lock spheres and stuff or is it basically infinite so like i could upgrade a weapon or aeon and not lose the items i would have needed to do it?

Yes, it fills every single slot of your inventory. You get every item. And you can activate it again and again.

The 99 item parameter works as such; It limits you to carry only 99 of each item. For example. Say I have 99 potions. I go ahead and buy ten from the shop. I would still only have those 99 potions. Anything that you gain that goes over the 99 item limit is 'erased.' Hope I could help.

So if i used 99 of an item to teach an aeon magic or something I could activate again to get the item back?

How is that a problem? You can't have more than 99 anyway.

Yes.

Just items. No key items, no weapons, no Al Bhed Primers.

Just spheres, potions, customizable items like dark mtter farplane wind etc.

Thanks for all the info.
I had already run through back in ps2 days when I had a lot more time on my hands and always loved kitting out aeons with their respective skills and stuff (ifrit with firaga, not just fire) even if they weren't used all that often. was hoping this cheat of sorts would let me give aeons what they deserve, not that any optional summons need it.
