And then Lady Luck is second best because Random Reels is a slot-reel type move that can (could?) be cheesed by repeatedly pausing the game to get 777 which produces Congrats!! which instantly kills 99.9% of the enemies in the game AND gives you their bribe money and bribe rewards as a prize.
Then after that it's 2 Dark Knights and an Alchemist spamming 2 Darkness and Mega Potion every round.
They felt over-powered at the point you get them I don't know how long that lasts but Fire Sandals will reguarly throw out Fire 3 way before you would unlock it as a Black Mage or even before you unlock Black Mage. Long term I don't know how effective they are I got cocky when playing FFX-2 remaster and didn't save for ages and got annoyed at how much progress I lost.
Perfect for Grinding or quickly pushing through an area.
My build back on the PS2 was Rikku and Pain as Dark Knights and Yuna as a White Mage. It became too easy after that.
