Overdrive=> AP with supercharge
How does this work? Has anyone tried it yet?
Can you just get a super slow monster, and keep changing weapons for turns?
Does this make triple ap useless?

As long as the character performs an action in the fight (Attack, Defend, Blk/White Magic, Switch Weapons/Armor etc) then they will gain the total AP that the monsters in the fight are worth.

I think you've misunderstood what I meant, Overdrive->AP is a trait weapons can have, which basically turns your overdrive bar to AP gained. My question was does this work with Supercharge, and does it stack with triple AP
(This is all endgame stuff)

lol i had forgot there was the option (not sure what to call it haha) to have your overdrive turned to ap xD why not just make a save and make the weapon and test it lol if doesnt work just reload the save

i would do it myself just to see but im not useing cheats and im only at thunderplains (trying to do the accursed 200dodge,,,,,,, befor ei leave)

Hmmm. I seem to recall there was a trait that made you hit really pathetically I think, like only 1 damage. I could see using Super Charge and then just spam Overdrive. Would replace the whole process of getting the Ally Overdrive and then going to the arena to fight the cactuar king with auto-phoenix armor. A lot less setup and easier to pull off earlier in the game.

Edit: Ok I think I was mistaken about the ability to hit for really low damage. Still it would be a decent setup for some easy AP grinding earlier in the game instead of waiting till you get a large portion of the Arena monsters.

Okay so I tested it, just getting turns with Supercharge doesn't work. Sad times
