If you can't beat her it's not really that big a deal. The reward is just a ring IIRC.
in the secondbattle go sure that yunas and ifrit overdrive-bar are full... and you can heal Ifrit with his Fire-spell...
I am talking about the first 2 battles. I am aware of that. In the second battle her Aeon uses haste giving it 4 or 5 attacks to every 1 your Aeon gets. There is no chance to stop it it is scripted. It is where she awards you the summoner thingie that allows you to give your Aeons abilities. Maybe your just not remembering it.
5 attacks kills my Ifrit. Never got another turn..So no.
most likely there aeon hit you 3-4 times... you should Ifrit heal with his Fire spells whenever you could... by me this fight ends with a Win for me but you need you Overdrive attack... better 2... and your ifrit had a 50/50 chance to slip a enemy attack...
No it attacked 5 times. It was hasted. The haste was scripted. So its not possible to stop. I am pretty sure the game means for you to lose this battle. WIn or lose you get the same reward don't you.
No . I have proceeded through the game normally. Yunas level determines her Aeons level.
Also they have this way of leveling up as well.
Even proceeding normally sans grinding Belgemine is fairly easy.
