I have a great game on PlayStation 2 and I would like to play again without starting from nothing again ^^
Thank you !
Paste the PS2 save into the saves folder (C:\Users\<your user>\Documents\SQUARE ENIX\FINAL FANTASY X&X-2 HD Remaster\FINAL FANTASY X) and rename it using the format ffx_XXX where XXX is a number. Notice that the file mustn't have any extension. It must NOT be ffx_XXX.psu or something, it must be ffx_XXX.
Try to load it. if the game says it's corrupt, use MemorySumChecker on the file and try again.
Thank you :)
I can tell you my experience with this and consoles. PS3 and PS4, the console itself adds some stuff to the save, in some cases even encrypts them. That means that in order to use FFXED with PS3/4, you must use some kind of software to "Extract" the "normal" save, then edit it with FFXED, and then "re-import" it to the console format.
However the PC version doesn't change anything at all compared to the original PS2 game (well, it adds those 00 bytes at the end,but that's it).
If you share with me a FFX save file from Switch, I could give it a look and tell you, but coming from a console, it's probably not going to be this easy.
Ps. Does he work for Remaster?
Who's he?
From then on, you're free to change whatever you want, but keep in mind that the opposition team's levels are autoleveled after each match, so it's not possible to have an overleveled team. You can set your dream team with any attacks you want them to have, though
