What I would like is a save file that is at the beginning of the game (so when you load it, you would be dropped right into the first save sphere), and have the Spheregrid edited in a similiar way you did (Although, not all that Luck, as I would like to use the save for casual playthroughs, and getting Fortune Spheres are rare)
You can edit the sphere grid to maximize all existing nodes: i.e: all HP nodes now give 300HP, all STR nodes give +4 STR, etc. You'll still need to gain levels and activate each node manually. In FFXED, under the Sphere Grid section, there is a button called "Max Sphere Grid" that performs this function.
Well, with your method, you can make the grid exactly as you like.
With FFXED there are options to either min or max the nodes on the grid. Max is pretty OP, and Min makes you weak.
